I grew up in Switzerland, moved to Boston in 1994 and returned to Europe in 2011. Until early 2018 I lived in Berlin, Brussels and Zürich. I live permanently in Switzerland now and still enjoy the abundance of Europe as often as I can.

Micha
For 38 years Micha was my best friend. She was ravaged by cancer and died on 27.5.2017 just a few weeks after we celebrated her 50th birthday.
I miss her immensely.
Maggia
Maggia is a village in the Ticino, the Italian speaking part of Switzerland. I spent much of my childhood there, hiking in the Alps, swimming in the waterfalls, catching snakes and toads, and eating berries, mushrooms and chestnuts. I return there as often as she can.
